Bryan & Kern: Exceptional Fasces & Filigree Jugate. For some reason, button manufacturing reached a pinnacle or apex in 1908, resulting in a wide variety of gorgeous designs. Any collection worth its salt should include a representative grouping of these knock-out buttons. This example measures 1 3/4" and features portraits of Bryan & Kern flanking a golden fasces with shield above, surrounded by filigree work, all on a chartreuse background.
