Thomas Jefferson: Brass Diameter Measure Drafting Tool. With no markings of maker or measurement, this tool's precise functionality and origin remain a mystery. 3.25" x 2.5" inches when fully extended, the brass tool is comprised of three crescent shaped arms radiating from a central sphere. The middle arm is mobile along a track and can be secured with a tightening screw for the comparison of widths.
