Octavo. [viii, including frontispiece], 427, [1, blank], [20, ads] pages. Illustrated with several woodengravings after Henry Worrall. Rebound in modern full brown cloth, original cloth covers affixed to boards, spine lettered in gilt, marbled endleaves. Some rubbing to binding, ink ownership stamp on page [i], text toned, foxed, and somewhat soiled, some pages with short tears. Contemporary ink signatures in a few places. Still, a good copy of this rare and important book. "One of the most important resources on ranching in Texas, Colorado and Kansas and on the Texas cattle drives." (Streeter).
