Two small octavo volumes. With an engraved frontispiece in Volume I. Beautifully bound by Le Gascon in contemporary full burgundy morocco, covers elaborately ruled in gilt with gilt floral cornerpieces and central floral motif, spines elaborately ruled, tooled, and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, gilt board edges. Some wear to spines (Volume I has some tears to spine) and bindings, bookplates. Contemporary ownership inscription in both volumes. Overall, a very good and striking set.
