First edition, first printing. Three octavo volumes. Publisher's green cloth with gilt stamping to spines. Volumes I and II show mild rubbing to cloth with light abrading to extremities. Small area of scuffing to fore-edge of Volume I. Volume III appears to have been married to this set and shows more wear and some fading to cloth. Chipping and abrading to extremities and along gutters. Boards with bumping and denting, lightly affecting textblock. Bookplate to front pastedown. All in all, a very good set.
