Complete in twelve volumes, bound in two folio volumes, with Appendix and four Indexes. 15.25 x 9.25 inches. Engraved title, printed title in red and black with vignette, portrait, each title with vignette, head- and tail-pieces. Full contemporary vellum, tooled in blind and with six raised bands, red morocco spine labels lettered in gilt. Binding a bit worn, with bumping at the corners, soiling and discoloring of the vellum, puckering to vellum on the boards; front joint of Volume I splitting but still sound. Altogether, still a very good copy of a beautifully printed work.
