Contemporary full calf. Covers ruled in blind. Corners and spine edges worn, some damage to joints (yet binding is still quite solid), outer half of title-page torn away, text toned, several marginal ink notes throughout, pastedowns removed, each replaced by bookplates of Sir William Pepperell. Overall, a good copy with an excellent provenance.
