Presentation copy for Jos. Sabin Esq. from T. T. Richards. With a tipped-in one-page ALS from Richards to Sabin. Quarto. 30 pages. Frontispiece by Mallory. Half leather over boards with gilt ruling and spine titles. Covers and extremities rubbed with small stain on front board. Both hinges lightly broken but intact. Some light toning and foxing. Catalog entry tipped in at rear. Otherwise, a better than very good copy."An immediate organization of all the militia of Missouri is hereby ordered, for the purpose of exterminating the guerillas that infest the State" (Sabin 70970).
