George III, King of England, Letter Signed. One and one-third pages, 7.75" x 11.25", "Our Palace at St. James," January 7, 1772, wishing a prince a happy New Year. Text and signature are in bold ink. Stamped in the lower margin, "W. C. Putnam Collection Davenport Public Museum." Also included is a portrait engraving of King George (4.75" x 8", with some staining and foxing).Auction Info
