Calvin Coolidge Photograph Signed as President. Measuring 10" x 8", n. d. [September 14, 1925], this gelatin silver print features Coolidge holding a small model of the Curtiss Pulitzer Racer used in the Pulitzer Trophy Race in which American World War I flying ace, Edward V. Rickenbacker, had just invited him to attend at Michel Field on October 10, 1925.. Standing behind and between the two men is Richard R. Blythe, pilot and chairman of the Aeronautics Executives Association. All three men have signed their names over their respective images. Includes a press clipping of the presentation ceremony from the New York World included. On the verso is an attached label for the Aeronautic Executives Association. Age toning along the edges, else fine. From the Richard Blythe Aviation Collection.
