Joseph Dudley Appointment Signed "J Dudley." One page, 16" x 11.5", Boston, October 16, 1702, appointing "Henry Sharpe . . . Cornet of the Troop of horse raised out of the Militia of the Town of Salem." Dudley (1647-1720) was serving as "Captain General and Governour in Chief in and over Her Matys.
