Description
Colt Model 1878 Frontier-Six Shooter Double-Action Revolver. Serial no. 49392, .44 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with Hartford address and roll-stamped COLT FRONTIER SIX-SHOOTER. Nickel-plated finish. Checkered Rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Lanyard ring. Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 45-55% nickel-plated finish, the balance a mottled dark brown patina. Scattered patches of fine pitting and surface scratches. Heavy wear to grips which have turned brown. Small chip to left grip panel near butt. Pitted bore. Action good. Manufactured 1905.Auction Info
