Description
Colt Lightning Double Action Revolver. Serial no. 90581 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and two-line Hartford address. Nickel-plated finish. Three-line, three- date patent with oval Rampant Colt logo. Checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt grips. Manufactured in 1893. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg. Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 10-15% nickel finish with noticeable flaking. Remaining showing a brown patina with scattered wear and pitting. Grips with scratches, checkering worn smooth in areas. Action needs adjustment. Bore is good.Auction Info
