Description

Three WWI Era Aviators' Leather Flying Helmets. Comprising: 1) Brown leather chamois-lined helmet with a "Dunhill's Ltd. / London" retailer's tag sewn to the inside. Faintly named on the outside to "Hicks", the rest indecipherable. Shows honest use, but remains in very good condition. 2) Tan leather, fleece lined helmet, unmarked and in very good condition. 3) Brown leather, chamois lined commercial flying helmet made by "Stagg Gloves". Inside well worn and the tip of the chinstrap is broken, else it is in very good condition. From the collection of Dr. Douglas Harman.
