Description

British Officers' Sword From the George Vth Era. 32 ½" bright blade with wire-wrapped, ray skin grips and plated sheet metal guard adorned with floral decoration and a George Vth cypher. The sword is accompanied by a brown leather scabbard with a nickel drag and throat. The blade has surface rust and some pitting near the guard and the guard, drag and throat have a uniform layer of light surface rust. The sword is likely not English made but manufactured in one of the colonies or protectorates. Good condition.
