Description
Beautiful Horstmann Company Naval Officers' Epaulettes, Sword Belt and Chapeau in a Japanned-Tin Storage Case. Beautifully preserved and of exceptional quality the lot includes a pair of Lieutenant Commanders' shoulder boards; dress sword belt and buckle, and chapeau. All articles are marked with the Horstmann, Philadelphia stamp. The japanned-tin box is likewise marked Horstmann and is complete with small padlock and key. The top of the box lid is marked "G. P. B. Jr. U.S.N.". All items are in excellent condition; the storage box retains approximately 75% of the original finish.Auction Info
