Engraved Boys Schutzen Sporting Rifle. Serial no. 6462, Approximately 8mm, 24-inch octagonal barrel with serrated top and adjustable sights. Blued finish with case-hardened frame. Scroll engraved frame, lever and tang with bird motifs. Marked: [crown] over B and [crown] over U on right side of frame near breech. Checkered walnut stock and forend with raised cheekpiece. Horn figured buttplate. Overall length is 41-inches. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 60-70% blued finish to barrel and 20-25% case-hardened finish to frame, lever and tang. Stocks ok with various dings and losses to varnish. Missing rear sight. Buttplate with some losses and chips. Marred screws. Action good. Bore good.
