Description
German Mauser Model 1896 Broomhandle Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 470741, 7.65mm, 4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Left side of frame features a (crown)/U proof. Underside of barrel features: M/4/F E/B. Smooth walnut grip panels. Small lanyard ring on butt.Condition: Good retaining approximately 30-40% finish, the balance a brownish grey age patina with handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Grips showing a few scuffs and dings. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
