Smith & Wesson Model No. 2 Army Spur Trigger Revolver. Serial no. 27059, .32 rimfire caliber, 6-inch octagonal barrel with German silver front sight and Springfield address. Two pins in topstrap confirm this as a production example issued before May of 1865. Strong patent markings on cylinder. Blued and case-hardened finish. Spur trigger. Varnished rosewood grips. Condition: Very good to fine. Retaining approximately 55-65% original high polish blue finish with high point edgewear and losses on cylinder and backstrap. Tracking line to cylinder. Grips fine. Retaining approximately 80-90% varnish with scattered scratches and blemishes. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
