Description

Charles M. Russell: Good Medicine Signed by Jack Russell. (New York City: William C.D. Glaser, 1929). Inscribed by Russell's son Jack on the half-title page: "I loved riding with my father, Jack Russell." Photograph of Jack Russell signing the book laid in. Introduction by Will Rogers and a biographical note by Russell's wife, Nancy. Quarto. (12" x 8 7/8"). 162 pp. Publisher's original cloth stamped in red on the front cover and spine, dust jacket. Book is in fine condition, while the price-clipped dust jacket is a bit worn and chipped around the edges and with rubbing to the spine. Previous owner's bookplate on the front free endpaper. Housed in a custom quarter-morocco book-backed slipcase with gilt lettering and five raised bands. Altogether, a very desirable copy.
