Description

Martin Drunkard Mechanical Wind-up Toy, No Box.
Circa 1900, handpainted tin with burlap plaid pants and shirt, champagne bottle (not original) in right hand and tin cup in left, 7.75" tall, Ferdinand Martin maker's mark on top of top hat.
Condition- Toy is good, with some chipping of the paint throughout, especially a quarter-inch spot on the right cheek, affecting the lips. Cloth is slightly soiled. Mechanism still functions well, and overall, this eclectic piece is a welcome addition for any mechanical toy collector.
