Ulysses S. Grant: A Fine Autographed Carte de Visite. Until recent years, autographed CDV's of Grant's military opposite Robert E. Lee usually commanded the higher price in the marketplace. However, there has been a growing realization that in actuality Grant's signature on a CDV is in fact scarcer, and the prices of the two have moved closer to parity. This is a very nice, clean example which "mates" perfectly with the Lee CDV which is offered in this catalog.Auction Info
