Ravel, Joseph-Maurice. Autograph letter signed ("Maurice Ravel"), in French, 2 pages (6.5 x 4.75 in.; 165 x 121 mm.), on stationery engraved "VALVINS par AVON (S & M)" in red at top right corner, [no date], to an unnamed gentlemen; browning on top and bottom margins from cellophane tape on verso. Urgently finishing an important work. Ravel writes in full: Dear Sir, Please excuse the delay of my response. I had to finish an important work urgently for what I was involved in, in the country.
