Gentling, Scott & Stuart, with John Graves. Of Birds and Texas. Austin: Wind River Press, 1986. 223 pp. First Edition. Elephant folio in linen slipcase. Illustrated with 40 color lithographic plates (28" x 22") of Texas birds in the wild and 10 Texas landscapes. Limited to 500 numbered copies, this one is #113 and is signed by the Gentling brothers and by Graves, who wrote the accompanying text. A landmark in Texas wildlife art and fine printing, this is by far the most elaborate such work ever produced in the Lone Star State.
