Physicist Robert Lull Forward (1932-2002) retired from Hughes Aircraft in 1987 to focus fulltime on his science-fiction writing, eventually completing eleven novels. These three titles, one from the "Dragon's Egg" series, one from the "Rocheworld" series, and a stand-alone novel, provide a fine introduction to the variety of his work.
