Publisher's cloth, spine lettered in gilt, cover illustration affixed to front board. Spine slightly sunned and leaning, extremities gently rubbed and bumped, front and rear hinges tender, owner's ink and pencil inscriptions, light scattered toning. Very good.

More Information: Detective novel featuring Inspector Webster who investigates a murder committed in a remote Yorkshire village. According to Shiel biographer Harold W.
