Mercury-Atlas 7 (Aurora 7): Fifteen Vintage Glossy Finish Photos of Scott Carpenter in Training, all from the Personal Archives of NASA Legend Bill Taub. Fifteen B&W photos ranging in size from 6" x 9" to 8" x 10" detailing Carpenter's training for the fourth crewed Mercury flight. Among the images are many candid shots of Carpenter in spacesuit as well as casually dressed. Some light corner bumps, overall very fine.NOTE: The photos from this archive were the inspiration for the recent book by J. L. Pickering and John Bisney, Photographing America's First Astronauts, Project Mercury Through the Lens of Bill Taub. A beautiful book from the Purdue University Press. Highly recommended.
