Apollo 7 Crew-Signed Launch Cover. A philatelic cover with a 6¢ "Flag" stamp affixed at right, bearing a hand cancelation from Kennedy Space Center, dated October 11, 1968, the day that Apollo 7 was launched. The cachet is a colorful printed U.S. Navy Recovery Force design, the first of which Heritage has offered. At right, are the crew's names typed with ink signatures above, as follows: "W M Schirra Jr", "Walt Cunningham", and "Donn Eisele. Unaddressed. Excellent. Included, for purposes of display or matting, is a glossy color print of the crew posed in white spacesuits. From the Family Collection of Jacques Bracke.
