Description
Alan Shepard Signed Vintage NASA Freedom 7 Photo with Accompanying Vintage Astrodome Magazine. A vintage chromogenic 8" x 10" print with the "A Kodak Paper" watermark of the Freedom 7 launch. It is signed in black felt tip: "To Astro Roy Hofheinz-/ hope you get off the pad as well!/ Astronaut Alan Shepard". Hofheinz was the former mayor of Houston and was instrumental in obtaining the Houston Astros as well as development of the Astrodome. Included is a copy of a 1965 magazine detailing the Astrodome. Magazine shows signs of wear commensurate with age, photo very fine.Auction Info
