Publisher's black cloth lettered in gold to upper board and spine. Light edgewear, corners a touch bumped, some scuffing, head and tail just pushed. Text block edges foxed, top edge stained yellow, bottom edge untrimmed, fore-edge with staggered trim, bookseller notation to front free endleaf recto. Internally clean and bright. Dust jacket unclipped, priced "8s. 6d. net"; somewhat soiled, chipping along edges with a few small tears and head and tail and folds; tape repair to head and top of folds. Publisher's bright red cloth lettered in gold to upper board and spine.
