Battlefield Recovered Example of One of the Rarest of all Confederate Used Waist Belt Plates, and One of the Only Forms Specifically Identified to Texas. The plate is about 80% intact, just missing portions of the top and right side borders. Retains the lead filler inside the star. Recovered in Virginia. Generally assumed to have been issued to no larger than a company size unit with only a handful of existing specimens. Seldom offered in any condition.Auction Info
