Description

Battlefield Recovered Example of One of the Rarest of all Confederate Used Waist Belt Plates, and One of the Only Forms Specifically Identified to Texas. The plate is about 80% intact, just missing portions of the top and right side borders. Retains the lead filler inside the star. Recovered in Virginia. Generally assumed to have been issued to no larger than a company size unit with only a handful of existing specimens. Seldom offered in any condition.
