Description

Edgar Rice Burroughs. Jungle Girl. Tarzana, California: Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. Publishers, 1932.
First edition. Twelvemo. 318 pages. Frontispiece and five full-page illustrations by Studley Burroughs.

Blue cloth boards with red titles. Significant fading to spine with heavy wear to spine head and tail. Pages are age toned throughout, but otherwise the textblock is in excellent condition. Dust jacket is creased and chipped along upper edges; jacket spine shows age toning. Former owner's name penned on front pastedown, with age toning to front and back flyleaves. A very good copy.

One of Burroughs' scarcest titles and as such, extremely collectible. A fine jungle adventure from the master of the genre, this one featuring the intrepid daughter of a missionary. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
