Description
Superb Condition Winchester M1892 Rifle #1000490, Mfg. 1931. 24" round barrel, full magazine, caliber .25-20. Gun retains 95% of the original bright blue, just some loss on the underside of the receiver, likely from carrying, and the butt plate. The gun is tapped for a side mount scope with the two holes on the left side of the frame. Mechanically perfect, perfect markings, mint bore. Wood overall about perfect with just a few minor scratches/dents and 98% of what appears to be the original varnish. A beautiful M1892 in an extremely desirable caliber.Auction Info
