Description
Winchester Model Model 94AE William Boyd "Hopalong Cassidy" Tribute Lever-Action Carbine. Cal. .30-30 Winchester. Serial number 6279728. 20" round barrel. Nickel receiver, large loop cocking lever, and barrel bands; gold trigger and hammer; blued barrel and feed tube. Walnut stock. Both sides of the receiver are ornately decorated with floral engraving as well as portraits of Boyd and his horse Topper. The engraving has been accented in gold. The left side of the barrel is marked "352 OF FIVE HUNDRED" and the right side of the barrel "HOPALONG CASSIDY", both accented in silver. This is an attractive tribute rifle displaying minor storage wear but in excellent condition. Accompanied by the original COA from "America Remembers" identifying this rifle as #352 of an edition of 500.Auction Info
