Neil Armstrong Hand-Drawn Image of the Apollo Mission Flight Path, One of a Series He Drew for His Father as He Explained NASA's Plans for Going to the Moon. On one of Neil's trips to Wapakoneta to visit his family, he sat down with his father Stephen to explain, in simple drawings on 8" x 10.5" lined paper, how they would accomplish the manned landing on the moon. This particular image shows a Lunar Orbit Rendezvous mission profile for a trip to the moon like the one he would take. Blank verso. Excellent.This lot will be accompanied by a signed COA from Neil Armstrong's brother, Dean.
