Description
Superb Otto Bennewitz Drilling. 16 gauge/8.8mm. Serial number 58363. 26¾" Klett fluid steel barrels with a slightly tapered matte rib. Manufactured "2/27", marked with numerous German proof marks. Greener side safety. Flip up rear sight. Double triggers. Lock, trigger guard, breech and tang modestly engraved with borders and floral scrolls. The barrels have toned to a nice brown patina and the walnut stock and fore end have commensurate wear. The initials "CTG" are stamped on the left side of the stock just forward of the side safety. The right side of the butt has two small nail holes, the purpose of which is unknown. Still, this is a fantastic drilling, mechanically sound and in very good condition.Auction Info
