Description
Baker Batavia Special Double-Barrel Shotgun. 12 gauge. 28" barrels with a concave slightly tapered rib. Marked "B" and "45" on the action. About 6½" pounds in weight, 45" overall length, with a 14" LOP to the factory butt cap, a 2" DAC, and a 3" DAH. Double triggers. The case-colored action and trigger guard are ornately engraved with hunting scenes. The pistol-grip walnut stock is beautifully checkered and the matching fore end is inlayed with an ebony tip. Most of the case coloring is absent but the action has a uniform patina and shows little apparent wear. The finish on the barrels is slightly worn but otherwise the shotgun is in excellent condition with bright, shiny bores.Auction Info
