Description
Rare Hausser (Duscha) "Zugmachine 731" Clockwork Camouflage Prime Mover and Crew. This is perhaps the gem of the Hausser line of vehicles. Though it's difficult to distinguish between the Hausser model and the Duscha reproduction, it little matters as both are extremely rare. This incredibly detailed vehicle is magnificent in scale, measuring approximately 14" in length and featuring a folding camouflage cloth top, eleven more-or-less matching composition soldier figures, exchangeable "Hausser" marked rubber tires (including two spares), original windshield, manual turn indicators, and rubber treads. The halftrack comes with a variety of small accessories including a jack, shovels and other implements stored in compartments at the rear of the vehicle. The halftrack displays little, if any wear, though the wind-up mechanism has not been tested. This toy is the pinnacle of the 20th Century German toymaker's art.Auction Info
