Description
Hausser Clockwork Olive-Green "Protzkraftwagen" With Olive-Green Flak Cannon. Though these two were certainly not issued together, they make a handsome set. The lot includes a three-axle truck with "Hausser" marked rubber tires and featuring battery-operated headlights, manual turn indicators, and a yellow fender flag. This is almost certainly a post-war version and is fittingly crewed by six composition seated American soldier figures. The truck is 10" overall and is excellent condition, though the wind-up mechanism is untested. The flak cannon is of an older vintage and is about 12" in overall length, with detachable front and rear limber wheels, each tire marked "Hausser". The elevating mechanism still works on the cannon, but the threaded connecting rods that attach the carriage wheels to the cannon need repair, including a replacement wheel, to make the pieces fit properly. Otherwise the cannon is in very good condition.Auction Info
