Apollo 11 Flown Flag of the State of Mississippi Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A 6" x 4" silk flag that traveled to the moon and back on the first manned lunar landing mission. This flag bears a controversial design, the only U.S. state flag (since 2003) to include the Confederate battle flag, found in the canton against three horizontal stripes of blue, white, and red. This is absolutely the first space-flown Mississippi flag Heritage has ever offered. A piece of history for a proud Mississippian to own. Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival sleeve.
