Description

An Exceptional Victorian Royal Regiment of Artillery Officer's Dress Sabretache. The body is black leather with a black cloth front surrounded is gold lace. The center of the sabretache consist of the Royal Arms in gold wire bullion above a wreath and a riband with Ubique (Everywhere), the single battle honour for the Royal Artillery. Below the wreath is a fire-gilt field gun. At the bottom of the sabretache is a red velvet riband with the regiment's motto in gold wire bullion, Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt (Where Right And Glory Lead). The sabretache is in near mint condition. Very attractively framed in a glazed case 17" x 19" overall.
