Description
U.S. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen Bolt Action Military Rifle Manufactured By Springfield Armory. Serial No. 293472, .30-40 caliber, 22-inch barrel with standard military sights. Marked U.S./MODEL 1898 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY on the left side wall. Walnut stock with metal buttplate. Stock with JSA/1902 and circle P cartouches. Two barrel bands, two sling swivels and one stacking swivel.Condition: Very good, as altered. Retaining approximately 80-90% blue finish with modest wear at the high spots. The barrel has been shortened to 22-inches and fitted with an upper band which is missing both mounting screws. Stock with the usual light scratches and dents.
