Description
Lot of Two Reproduction Black Powder Revolvers. Comprising: 1) Italian Copy of Remington New Model Army Revolver. Serial no. 174956, .44 caliber, 8-inch octagonal barrel. Blued finish. Brass triggerguard, varnished hardwood grips. 2) Italian Copy of Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver. Serial no. 73834, .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel. Blued finish. Naval engagement scene roll-stamped on cylinder and marked,"COLT'S PATENT." Oil finished hardwood grips. Condition: 1) Very good. Appears unfired. Minor handling wear. 2) Good. Age wear and patina. Spot on right side of frame. Action needs adjustment. Loading assembly and lug with fine light rust deposits from poor storage. Should clean up nicely.Auction Info
