Lot of Four Assorted Powder Flasks. Comprising: 1) American Flask & Cap Co. Powder Flask. 8 1/2-inches tall with 3-position spring-loaded charger. 3 suspension rings present. Scalloped floral design front and back. [Riling #389, 390 pg. 292] 2) Bartram Powder Flask. 10-inch flask with 3-position spring-loaded charger. One suspension loop present. Scalloped floral design front and back. [Riling #360 pg. 290] 3) Mathewman Powder Flask. 8-inch flask with 3-position spring-loaded charger marked, "J. MATHEWMAN/NEW HAVEN CT." Fluted pattern. [Riling #277 pg. 283] 4) Unmarked Powder Flask. 6 1/4-inch scalloped flask with 3-position spring-loaded charger.[Riling #333 pg. 289] Condition: 1) Very good to fine. Nice age patina. One suspension ring absent. 2) Good. Age wear and patina. One suspension loop absent. Split seams. 3) Good. Nice age patina. Loose top. Spring-loaded mechanism needs work. 4) Very good.
