Description
French Gras Model 1874 Bolt Action Military Rifle. Serial No. 58906, 11x59Rmm caliber, 32-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Receiver, barrel and stock serial numbers matching; bolt and rear sight mis-matched. St. Etienne manufacturer's mark and 1880 barrel date. Let side of receiver marked M.80. Two barrel bands, two sling swivels and cleaning rod. Integral bayonet lug mounted to right side of the barrel. Walnut stock.Condition: Very good. Finish with uniform plum brown patina with wear at the muzzle and high spots. Stock lightly sanded. Bright bore.
