Deke Slayton's Gemini Area Permit Badge. A 2.375" x 3.375" heavily-laminated badge with original clip still attached on the blank verso. On the front is printed "AREA PERMIT" above the Gemini logo with "B/ I" stamped to the right. The number "6" and the name "Donald K. Slayton" are both typed in their proper place. A yellow sticker "P" is affixed at lower right. A unique collectible from one of the most important men at NASA during this time. Age related wear, overall fine.Auction Info
