Description

Two Hand-painted Wooden Panels with Old West Subject Matter. While various traveling Western shows, including Pawnee Bill's, were known to have scenes painted on side panels of some of their wagons, this is not known to have been a practice with Buffalo Bill's Wild West. The exact application may never be known, but these panels exude "period flavor." Painted images are worn, but still appealing. Each panel measures 20.5" x 13.5".
