SpaceShipOne Flight 15P, the First Crewed Private Spaceflight: Launch Cover Signed by Doug Shane and Color Photo Signed by Mike Melvill. Two great souvenirs from this landmark private flight, the first past the edge of space, 100 kilometers. As follows.Doug Shane: Beautiful Airmail cover sent to and address in Germany, cancelled at Mojave, California, June 21, 2004. Signed by Shane, then the Director of Flight Operations for Scaled Composites, later president.
Mike Melvill: Great 10" x 8" glossy photo signed in blue felt tip: "Reach For The Sky!/ Mike Melvill/ 21 June 2004/ 328,491 Feet!". Two hours after the flight, he received his astronaut wings from the FAA as the first private astronaut in history.
