AMERICAN SPACE MISSIONS
Mercury Seven Astronauts: Signatures of All on Three Sheets with
a Fabulous Dean Conger Color Photograph with Three Letters of
Authenticity from Steve Zarelli, in Matted Display. On one
sheet are the signatures, in blue inks, of: "John H. Glenn",
"Virgil I. Grissom", "Leroy G Cooper, Jr", "Donald
K. Slayton", and "A B Shepard". On separate white sheets
in black inks: "M. Scott Carpenter" and "Wally
Schirra". They are matted to an overall 25.5" x 20" with a
19.5" x 8.5" color photo of our nation's first group of astronauts,
all posed casually in business suits, seated, standing, or leaning
at a long table holding a globe and a spacecraft model. They are
all definitely showing more of an "attitude" than in the normal
press photos from this period. Taken at the Space Task Group
offices at Langley Field in Virginia in January 1960 for a magazine
article. A gorgeous display. Zarelli LOAs included. Very fine.
