Description
Apollo Program: Original NASA/ Grumman LEM Test Model 5 Banner. An attractive 60" x 38" cloth banner with both NASA and Grumman logos in color and the following text: "NASA/ LEM/ TM-5/ Manned Spacecraft Center". According to the NASA history site, the TM-5 was the final LEM mockup, "from which actual hardware fabrication would be made." This likely was hung above the model during an inspection and represents an important part of the development history of the Apollo spacecraft. Some light discoloration and minor unraveling, stored folded, overall very good.Auction Info
